Sincro Mecánica and Tecman will represent the Intaf Group at the Wind Energy exhibition in Hamburg, which will take place from 27 to 30 September

The Intaf Group, represented by the group companies Sincro Mecánica and Mantenimiento y Servicios Tecman, will participate as an exhibitor at the Wind Energy in Hamburg, which will take place from 27th to 30th September. This fair is a world benchmark in the wind energy sector. The aim is to show the group’s catalogue of products and services in the wind energy sector to both current and potential customers, as well as the important capacity expansion plan currently underway.

Investment plan

Participation in this fair will be a magnificent opportunity to present the investment plan scheduled for 2019, which will be completed in the last quarter of this year, with an investment of close to 6 million euros.

Through the investments made, the Intaf Group has individually launched an expansion of its facilities, with the acquisition of more than 15,000 m² of industrial land, which has allowed it to increase the covered surface area by 5,800 m², reaching 20,000 m². The larger surface area allows the group to make significant logistical improvements and to make new production areas available to the different companies. Sincro Mecánica increases its production space for the integrated management of power trains. Evolventia, in partnership with Tumbadoiro, expands its gear manufacturing plant, incorporates new production machinery and new equipment for dimensional control.

Heat treatment plant

Cogaltra, a company promoted by Grupo Intaf and Tumbadoiro, with the participation of Mecanizados Moan, Demaq Galicia and Ipargama, will also start up an innovative heat treatment plant within this year, which will carry out processes of carburising, hardening and tempering of steels. This completes the value chain of the Galician industry that requires these processes, as well as covering an essential activity for the partners promoting and participating in this project.
